Hillerød municipality’s school department and Lundtofte school have played our new game about the authentic and practical hands-on approach to learning that’s high on the agenda in Danish schools.

But what are the core elements of this practical, hands-on approach to learning? And how is this translated to the everyday practices in school?

At Autens, we believe that we develop professionally when we put ourselves in the game and have our hands involved. And this applies to both children and adults. Therefore, we have developed a board game about practical expertise, where teachers, managers, pedagogues, school departments and others can explore knowledge and research in practical expertise in a fun and playful format, discuss a multitude of practical examples and formulate future efforts together. The game takes the participants far and wide, including through a practical escape room!
