Education Achievement Service (EAS), South East Wales, approached Mike Davies in 2014 to set up facilitated study visits to Copenhagen and Malmö for their group of regional school consultants.

The first visit focussed on experiencing and discussing Danish and Swedish pedagogical practice in nurseries whereas the second looked at approaches to numeracy and literacy.

It is always a true pleasure to host and facilitate these visits that often start out with surprise and disbelief and gradually opens up a new understanding of different cultural and pedagogical approaches to children’s learning and development, and thus really adding perspective to everyones current practice.
