St Joseph’s School is a small 3 teacher school in Matamata New Zealand. They have a lovely contemporary space which caters for learners Y1 to Y8. This means teachers organise learning for 5 year olds to 12 year olds in one space. Today we delivered an Autens workshop with the principal and teachers using the Learning Space Design Lab. Together we prototyped the layout of the learning space and how to collaborate learning organisation aligned with the schools vision for contemporary learning that will enable learner agency and joyful learning in this space.
