We are increasing the capacity of Sophienborgskolen from two to three forms grade 0-9. In collaboration with the school’s leadership team, the local authority, the whole faculty and the student council, we have explored and identified dreams, core values, functionalities and key principles for the new expansion.

Through a series of workshops, we identified the shared DNA and ethos of this unique place, and went on to address key challenges and (re)design functionalities and adjacencies around the school’s pedagogical vision.

The project was commissioned by the city of Hillerød and carried out in collaboration with Rambøll as technical advisors, Dall & Lindhardtsen as architects and Autens as learning space advisors.
