Lene Jensby Lange was commissioned – in collaboration with Gentofte local council staff – to plan and host a two-day conference on Strategic Competence Development. The conference brought together head teachers, deputy heads, and other leading figures in schools, afternoon clubs etc. The programme was a varied bouquet of inspiring talks to both the mind, the heart, the rational, the emotional, and group work sessions in which each school could start developing their local strategy for competence development. In addition to be part of the planning & host team, Lene Jensby Lange also gave a talk on the why and the how of strategic competence development. Autens also documented the two day conference in a small booklet.
